Seasons of Setbacks

Before Mike found his “magic” he faced some setbacks. During one of his earlier business ventures he made a bad investment. This was no ordinary set back. This bad decision cost him about a half a million dollar. However, this mishap led him to become the multimillion dollar business architect that he is today.

The Road To An Entrepreneur’s Mindset

The lessons Mike learned while he recovered helped mold his entrepreneurial mindset. During this time Mike learned that failure is just part of the process. He learned to tailor his reactions to the failure. This also taught him to begin his days with gratitude. With this in mind, he “handles the fires” he can handle that day.

Zeller understood that he couldn’t grow with the knowledge he currently had. So, he would start every day by reading a book about having a money mindset. Additionally, he learned the power of changing his mind set. This allowed him to re-write his whole identity.  How to become a better man in the end. 

In the end, Mike read over 1,500 books. The books covered everything from psychology, sales, marketing, and leadership to entrepreneurship. Through reading, Mike not only became a better man, but also a better businessman.

What Does It Take to Become and Expert: A Growth Mindset

While Mike always had a growth mindset. He didn’t just wake up one day and decided to read over 1,500 books. Zeller did this to become an expert in his field. 
During his junior year in college Mike attended a Brian Tracy conference. It was there that he learned what it takes to be an expert. Zeller learned that he needed to read one book a month in his chosen field for 3 years. To expedite this process, Mike made it a goal to read a book a week.

Deciding To Change

Investing in yourself is the first step in growth. Mike says “It is a declaration. Things must change. I must change”. He explains, when you invest in yourself you shift into a new level of identity and ownership.

Mike’s unwillingness to tolerate is important to his transformation. If you want to do more, be more.  Achieve more than you need to and invest in yourself financially. The knowledge you gain when investing in yourself stays with you forever. 

Our experiences leave imprints on us. In other words, the more positive knowledge and experiences we consume, the more we are likely to grow.

The Entrepreneur Mindset ROI

One of the ways that Mike invests in himself is with conferences. Over the span of 2 years, he has been to 14 Tony Robbins conferences. Robbins is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a #1 NY Times bestselling author.  Additionally, Tony is amotivational speaker and the nation’s #1 life & business strategist. 

During these conferences, Robbins shares a lot of gems. One of the big takeaways is about “healing your inner self”. However, the biggest take away was building a new identity. 

These conferences help in all aspects of his life. It is what led Mike to some of his biggest breakthroughs. These lessons also help him guide his clients to the growth mindset that is best for them. 

While investing in yourself can be expensive. The return on investment can be priceless when utilized properly. Zeller mentioned that the ROI has been 1000x what he put into his self investment.

Entrepreneur Mindset: Manifestation Methods, Laws of Attraction, & Self-Actualization

Manifestation Methods

Manifestation has been a buzzword in the mental health & wellness communities. But what does it mean to manifest the life you want? Mike believes you can start manifesting once you can envision the person you want to be.  

Laws of Attraction

The Laws of attraction goes hand in hand with manifestation. If you see and speak about yourself a certain way, you will become it. Additionally, if you invite people to see you that way, to them you will become it. Essentially, you become how you see yourself. This, like manifestation, is achieved through envisioning a better you.

This can be easier said than done. However, you already have the answer to the first step. According to Mike, the first step to becoming your newself is understanding your old self. This is essential for conceiving your new identity.  Additionally, it is important for your growth.  

Self-Actualization

Information without application is just information.  However, information with application leads to transformation.  The final step in manifestation is just that. You must apply, or actualize, your manifestation.

Actualize means to turn into action or fact. Self-actualization allows us to completely realize our potential. However, this can’t be achieved if you don’t remove your mental blocks as well as your belief barriers and old identity. 

Lastly, you have to be willing to expand your identity.  Growth isn’t possible without the room to do so. Simply put, if you don’t properly manifest, you can’t actualize the results. 

The 5 Cs

Once you are able to understand these things you can work on attaining the 5 C’s. Clarity, Confictions, Courage, Confidence, and Commitment. After you self-actualize, you have Clarity. Clarity will allow you to lead and speak. Then you will start to do things with conviction. 

When you are able to do things with conviction, you will have more courage.  This courage will then allow you to have confidence.  Finally, with those skills under your belt, you can then make high level commitments.

The 5 C’s allows entrepreneurs to live up to their full potential, regardless of industry or standing. The 5 Cs give you the growth mindset you need to succeed.
